Hi ya'll. Maggie here. I'm old enough to know better and too young to care. I was born in south Mississippi, married too quick, and paid for it. I'm not what you'd call a real nice person. No excuses. I've found that it don't pay to be nice most of the time.
I gave birth to a son, but he don't have anything to do with me now. Ain't that the way of it? I act like it don't bother me, but it does.
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing here. Telling you something about myself, I guess. Well, I was born in 1956. My daddy is Mexican; my mama is American Indian. You can imagine what I look like, and if you can't ... think black hair, black eyes, dark skin, short and stocky build. Got it?
What else? Oh, what I do for a living. Well, let's just say that if I tell you, I'll have to kill you.
My favorite singer is Rod Stewart. My favorite songs are "Forever Young" and, of course, you guessed it! "Maggie Mae" I also like Eric Clapton and Bonnie Raitt. Oh, yeah, Bryan Adams could sing me the phone book and I'd listen.
I shock most of the others in here (hi Paragon, you old stick!) and that's okay. I shock the outsiders when I surface, too. I got no inhibitions and I ain't afraid of much of anything. If you'd survived my life, you'd be pretty battle-scarred too.
End Trans.
