Flying Saucers.
A. Orgin of Name.
1. Kennith Arnold saw objects he said "skipped across water like a
saucer".
2. Estimated speed 1700 mph.
3. Sighting was made over state of Washington, 1947.
II.
In 1947, the Air Force classified flying saucers as Unidentified
Flying Object (UFO).
A. Unidentified does not mean spaceship. It means the object is
unknown and unidentafied.
III.
People abducted (abductees).
A. 66% were male.
B. 33% were female.
C. 76% were alone.
D. 24% were with at least one other person.
E. Youngest-7
Oldest-77
F. People from all types of jobs, all walks of life, all levels of
education.
IV.
UFO sightings can be divided in 2 classifications.
A. Those seen at distance.
B. Those seen up close.
V.
Abductees agree on the following facts.
A. Beings were between 3 and a half and 4 and a half feet tall.
B. Beings conducted a physical exam and a mind scan.
C. Beings had no hair, skelatel structure, wrists, elbows, or
freckles.
D. Beings did not breathe, eat, or drink anything in front of
abductees.
E. When asked where they were from, beings said "a small planet
near Neptune", "163 million miles away", or "A planet of no
particular importance".
F. Beings said they came to study or gather data on humans.
G. Beings skin feel plastic or like rubber.
VI.
Many times abductees do not remember being abducted until:
A. They realize a period of time has passed and they don't remember
what they did.
B. They found scars and marks on their body and they don't know how
they got there.
C. They have very real dreams about Aliens and UFOs.
VII.
Dead cows.
A. From 1973-1978 about 2000 cows were found dead mutilated in the
Midwest.
B. To this day, no explanation exists as to what happened to these
cows.
C. Aliens, Satanic Cults or Government Secret Weapons are often
given as the reason.
VIII.
Documented abductions.
A. Betty and Barney Hill.
1. Movie and book, Interupted Journey=Big money for the
Hills.
B. Travis Walton.
1. Movie and book, Fire in the Sky=Big money for Travis
Walton.
IX.
Roswell.
A. July 1947, something crashed near Roswell, New Mexico.
B. It landed on the ranch of Mac Brazel.
C. The US Air Force was notified.
D. Major Jesse Marcel, the intelligence officer investigated.
E. Marcel found a huge area covered by metal-like tin foil unlike
anything he had ever seen before.
F. General George Ramey in Ft. Worth, Texas took control of the
investigation.
G. Reports were called in and the debris was said to be from a
weather balloon.
H. For a big period of time Marcel kept quiet.
I. In 1977, he questioned the official US Army version of the
story.
J. The case was reopened in 1995. Many of the reports from the time
had dissapeared.
K. The government still insists it was a weather balloon.
We studied all of this in Social Studies. I thought it was
fascinating so I put it on.
