Untitled

She lays without love,
a warm, wet, pillow cushions.
She prayed sobbing for help from above.
I see her pain untamed,
sadness sweeps overwhelming,
everyone but herself is un-blamed.
Sight hurts her soft eyes,
all she sees is gone.
So on that bed, eyelids shut, she lies.
Sleep does not come to her mind,
others make her down,
I see deep within someone kind.
Empty tears stay unspoken
pass a street of hardship,
street is rough to pass requires a token.
That coin is difficult to acquire,
sleeping night after night,
waiting for her happiness to aspire.
Go to sleep sweet one,
stay in a dreamland.
When you wake,
I pray the horror will be done.
