| Linda Hoskins is my mother. Besides being appreciative of her for giving me life, I am ever thankful for her dedication to teaching me God's Word from a very early age. She and my father not only taught me the Bible, but showed me how to follow it by serving in the church. She served as a Sunday School teacher, Director of Wednesday night Bible Club and Summer Vacation Bible School, Sunday School secretary, church clerk, church secretary, church organist, and Pastor's secretary at various times. There was always something to be done at the church, and we were usually the ones doing it. My parents took us with them to training conferences, and at about age 12 I began taking classes on my own. Soon afterwards they had me teaching my own class in Bible Club. The fact that they involved me meant a lot, and taught me that I wasn't too young to serve God. She has always been supportive of my ministry interests, and it means everything to me. |
