Here is a little of what I know about my McKay ancestery. My ancesters traveled from Scotland to Canada and then to the United States and settled in Northern Minnesota. That is where I was born and raised.

Kimberly Ann McKay b 7-23-1965 in Virginia Minnesota to Robert Alfred McKay b 10-7-1941 Eveleth Minnesota m. 6-28-1963 Kelsey Minnesota to Caroline Marie (Kitty) Rusco b. 11-12 -1945 Hibbing Minnesota Robert is the oldest son of Robert Willard McKay b 3-13-1920 Duluth Minnesota m 5-24-1941 in Cotton Minnesota to Hope Adeline Hage b 5-13-1923 Cotton Minnesota Robert Willard is the son of Walter James McKay b 10-25-1890 in Prarie Lake Minnesota m Jennie Harriet Tallakson b 9-19-1895 in Duluth Minnesota Walter passed away 9-19-1982 and Jennie passed away 5-14-1966 both were buried in the Riverside Cemetary Kelsey Minnesota. Walter is the son of John McKay b abt. 1852 in Canada m abt. 1867 to Christena Meldrum Wright b abt. 1853 in Canada. John passed away in 1914 and Christena in 1923 They were both laid to rest in Riverside Cemetary Kelsey Minnesota. John was the son of James McKay and Anna Ross. I do not have any dates or places yet of James and Anna.
