| Magic's Pawn was the first Valdemar Book I ever read. I highly recommend it! I've read this book at least a dozen times and it still pulls all of my emotional strings! I'd have to say this one is probably my favorite of all of her books. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| By the Sword is another book I enjoyed greatly. I didn't find it as emotional as the Last Herald-Mage Series but it's a very good read. I like the fact that this is a single book instead of a trilogy like most of her others. I like the trilogies too, but this was a nice change.
