FLORIDA
I heard that the sunsets on Captiva Island off of Fort Myers were beautiful.  So with camera in hand I headed down to the very tip to see the sun set.  I walked along the beach...drank some crappy wine that had bits of cork in it. And robbed the beach of ever beautiful shell I could find. It was relaxing and beautiful. I also got chased by some birds at one point time....I think I should mention that. I ran and threw my wine bottle on the ground..they were flying over my head and I thought I was going to be pecked to death...
Miami meets Jane
I finally found parking in a remote parking garage off the mainstrip.  As I am strolling down the street I come upon this house. People are taking pictures and I see a candle on the steps. So as a typical tourist would do I asked "Who's house is this" and someone told me it was Versacci.  So I took some pictures. Later on I wrote a cheesy poem about it too..but I think its one that will just stay in my journal.  Isn't lovely though.....*grin*
Blue water! That was much to cold to get in. So once again I sat on the beach..used Darren's cell phone hee hee. and wrote some poetry freezing my butt off. I watched the tourists...because we were the only people crazy enought to be on the beach.
This has got to be one of the cuteset things I have ever seen.  Its a little life guard house hut.  My dream cabana
More of south beach.  Note the white things on the beach are places where you can rent chairs and towels.
