Some say we are The Lost Children
That the world has long forgotten
Leaving no realms in which we may dwell.
Some believe us to be depraved monsters
That prey upon the young and weak
Quenching the thirst of carnal sins with innocence.
Some curse the very ground we travel
That death shadows our every flight
Forever the messengers of damnation.
Some tremble at our appearence
That hell itself lurks in our reflection
Gazing upon us, is embracing one's demise.
Some instruct that we dont even exist
That we are illusionary creatures of myth
Giving clarity to supersitions of elder youth.
To believe, to live, to have faith
Is to understand that one is eternal
Bound always to the clutches of the soul
Thou tainted by the longing for liquid life.
We are, as we were, blessed of living
Loves, dreams, hopes, desires
Embracing immortality nothing was lost
That gives truth to the being.
The unyielding unsatisfactioned hunger
An the dance with Death forever denied
Are the demons of our state.
We are not animals, devils, monsters
or Murderers of unknown innocence
We are the victims of deep sorrow.
The selfish desires of Lost Children
No longer wishing to be alone
In an over crowded world........
