This page is a tribute to Tim who died a sudden and unexplained death early in the year 2003 . Tim is a WW Dwarf hamster My DD was playing with him and just suddenly barely more than 30 minutes later he was dead . The vet thought it might have been a heart attack . I am thinking it may be that he choked on a seed . Tim used to think famine was coming and he was a walking pantry . He often transferred seeds from one pouch to another and I suspect this caused his death . He must have sucked one tiny seed down his windpipe . Tim was originally named Mary . Then one fine day 5 months down it became clear she was a he .He was sitting on some very furry grapes Tim recovered once from a bout of bronchitis . We spent close to S$100 on vet bills but I didn't have the heart to let him die . __ Its now 2005 and my DD still misses Tim
