I am currently working on an aphgan pattern that I found on a skein of yarn at the Joann store here in town.
I found the pattern 6 years ago and bought more than enough for the required pattern so that I could make it bigger.
I'm on the last few rows before the final finishing round.

15 Years ago there was a show called "The Home Show". It was on long before the extra craft shows
were on air. Carol Duvall was on this show before she had her own show that is now on DIY and
HGTV. Anyway.. to the point, I watched this show every morning and found alot of great crafting
ideas along with a colorful crocheted sweater pattern. I ordered the pattern and bought all my
yarn and ... still havent finished it yet. But it is on my list to finish this year.

At the ending of the year 1999 My mom-in-law wanted me to make her a doily for one of her coffee tables
that is oval and cherry colored. I started one that had 3 circles connected using a size 14 hook
and size 30 crochet thread. Several months later we found out she had inooperable cancer. I didn't feel
the urge to finish at the time and now that she has been gone scence Aug 16, 2001 I feel that I should
just for the memory. I am going to try to finish for Christmas so I can give it to my husband, Jeff, so
that he can put it with all his other momentum's of his mom, Gail Anne Peppinger-Williams-Davis.
