Lest we forget our Grandma
with her ever lasting smile
With her bonnet and apron
and her silver hair that shines
She makes the winter into summer
and takes her trials without a murmur
She gives a gift with no return
and sees no fault in anyone
She's so patient, it's inhuman
and a wrong she's never done
I love her more than ever
with the setting of each sun
This is a little praise for Grandma
for the many thing's she's done
You could thank her from now and forever
without repeating a single one
So, may God cause his face to shine on Grandma
for her ever lasting love
May she live past the ages
in a castle high above
