Decorative friendship books, a.k.a. decos, are small handmade books which are passed between friends via snail-mail.  What sets them apart from regular friendship books is that each signer decorates her page, or a portion thereof.  The possibilities are endless, from simple to very elaborate.  Whether or not you have any special artistic talent, decos are a great way to express yourself.  An interesting photo, a juxtaposition of colors, shapes and textures, or an unusual use of ordinary materials all can transform a blank piece of paper into a small work of art.
