A Gift From Me

Okay guys, here are the awards. I hope you enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed giving them out. No one really understands the hard work that goes on "behind-the-scenes", and I believe you should be recognized for your blood, sweat and tears. And there's no better way to brighten somebody's day like getting a gift from you.

If you would like an award, or know of a site that deserves one, please feel free to take one (or more), then sign the guestbook provided at the bottom of the page. I've decided to remain fair to my visitors it was more efficient this way since I can't answer my email as promptly as I'd like. Just be sure to link them back to my site so that other's may have one too.

Not a lot of rules, but ones that must be followed, especially for my Angel of Hope award. I created this award in hopes to bring awareness to the community in whole the importance of ending abuse of all types. I first created the award for it's survivors and victims. Then I realized if you go that extra mile to spread a positive message, brighten someone's day, or lend an ear even, you ARE and Angel of Hope.

	Are you an Angel of Hope? That is someone that realizes the downfall of society and takes the time to spread some kind of "Hope" to those they may not even know. If you honestly feel there is a way out and are willing to help those in need, then this is for you. Or, perhaps someone has taken that time for you and you would like to thank them. This positively has to be linked back to http://geocities.datacellar.net/bartlingangel. If I find one out there that is not properly linked, I will find it necessary to take the appropriate measures to have it removed. I apologize if this seems a bit harsh, but I work too hard to help those that have come out of the situation I found myself in and I would like to continue doing so, but they need to know where to find me. 	This is for those of you that have taken the extra time needed to bring a smile to someone else, or was just there to listen and who carry the unselfish heart. Can be for yourself or for someone you feel has a true heart of gold.
	This is a perfect gift to send in an e-mail. The Golden Angel goes beyond the "call of duty" to help others in some form or another, has a possitive outlook on most things and one of those friends "you just have to have".
	Pretty much like the other ones except the Compassion Award is more for the person(s) that take time out of their lives to visit other sites and spread encouraging words. They have the compassion it takes to really make a difference.
	I believe the name says it all. This is for those sites that really make you feel good and touch your soul in some fashion.
	Since I'm completely addicted to all things Victorian, I spend lots of time looking at the graphics, cards, etc. people graciously share on the web. If you've come across one that really stands out in your mind, why not recognize their hard work.
	This is a pretty general gift for those sites that are truly beatiful and/or elegant. There are so many out there I could give tons of these away.
	From my "mystical" side. S There are quite a few of you out there that spend countless hours on graphics to give it that special touch of pinks, blues and purples that I've also grown to love. This one's for you.
	This is another special one to me. We see so much negativity in the news, magazines, and now on the web that I felt those sites that are peaceful or serine deserve to be recognized. These sites take a persons soul and puts it on display for all of us to enjoy. Hats off to you!
	Pretty self-explanatory. This is to show others you have had the strength and courage to overcome a difficult time in your life. It's not easy to become a survivor and I fully support your efforts and triumphs.
	We spend a lot of time on the web these days and in doing so, many people come in and out of our lives. This goes to those special friends that are always there for each other, through thick and thin. "People come and go ... only friends leave footprints in our hearts".
	Ok all you hopeless romantics out there. If you're like me, I just melt when I read about a couple's love story. This goes out to you.
	Like the other one, this is for those sites that are beautifully arranged, except this is for the ones that are more on the Victorian or vintage side.
	The Award of Excellence. If you see a site that is truly deserving of this award, contact me so I may look at it. I will then email the recipient with the image and who requested it for them. Too many hours are spent displaying these pages for others to enjoy so I'm a bit more picky with this one.
