The wolf is one of the most notorious animals in the world, he is both loved and hated as is no other animal.
Many hate the wolf and see him as the devils companion, while others, like me, would like to see him survive.
The wolf has beauty and grace as well as intelligence, adaptability, keen senses, great hunting skills and can
live almost anywhere. He is on the federal list of endangered species but is concidered threatened in some places.
(In Alaska and Canada he is not on the endangered species list)

The wolf howls for different reasons, sometimes it's just to let the pups know they are headed home. The wolf howls for long distance communication and can be heard 4-6 miles away. It can be a warning of other packs in the area, or reunite a pack member who got separated from the pack. They even howl just for fun, like we do when we sing.

I have always had a love for wolves...there is a haunting beauty about them that draws me to them. They are so misunderstood and many fear them. This site is dedicated to them and to those who want to learn more about them; or for those who just want to see their beauty and grace.
