Hello ladies,
Just so there isn't any confusion and
in case some of you may have missed
them the first time around...here are
a list of the "rules" for the Gift Exchange.
Of course there are some of us who always
say..."Rules were meant to be broken..." so
let's just use this as a little reminder instead
of being told what to do or how to do it. :0)

Gwen will be doing all the web pages and if
anyone else would like to help, feel free to
contact her. She is hoping to have the theme
for each month posted by the 25th of the
previous month so that we can look ahead to
see who our partners are and what the theme
is. She also will be doing a page that shows
what we each got every month.
Thanks Gwen!!!

If none of you have a problem with this, it will
be done this way each month so you will have
to go to the site to see the partners and theme.
If you have a problem or suggestion about this,
let me know as soon as possible so we
can change it.

The majority of you basically agreed on the
same rules...which are:

Dollar amount to spend: $18-20 then with
postage, hopefully it will be able to stay around $25

Date to send gift out by: 15th of the month, gives
us two weeks to pick out something and two
weeks to receive it.

No excuses short of (I believe the words used
were...) hospitalization for not sending a gift
out to your partner. We all wanted to do this
so...do it!!! And to be just a little less
strict...IF for some reason you may be late
getting your gift out...PLEASE ...let your partner
know as soon as possible FOR YOU will be owing
them BIG TIME!! I'll leave that up to you to
reconcile with your partner. If for some reason
you are not able to participate during one of the
months, you must let me know as soon as possible.
It wouldn't be fair for you to receive a gift and
not send one out.

You have to let Gwen know when you received
your gift and what you received. A short
email to her is fine.

I think the old rule of no second hand gifts
should still apply.

If you have questions, concerns, complaints,
ideas just email me right away or feel free to
email the group as a whole, it is up to you.

For the mere fact that they ARE gifts, it would
be nice if they were giftwrapped inside the
mailing box. Some people do and some don't and
the presentation is always a lot nicer if they
are. People can wrap them in wrapping paper,
newspaper, paper of any sort, tissue paper, toilet
paper or say part of the theme (i.e.,
kitchen it could be a t-towel) ....as creative as
they want. It's like Pami always says --
Presentation is everything!!! And a big hug and
thank you Kim S for this suggestion. :0)

Okay, I have said my piece and now it is time for
all of you to take a turn...
Tami

Let the fun begin!!!
