Welcome to my keychain collection site. I really love keychains and collect as many as possible. I shop for them on the internet as well as in the stores. I have been given a few like: a Baltimore Orioles American Championship keychain from 1969. It's acrylic with the Oriole mascot on one side and the American Championship and year on the other. I have also be put links to my favorite webpages concerning my hobby, like the one from Basic Fun. Also listed here are what I want for my collection but cannot find, you know, a wanted list. If you want to look at a bit of my Basic Fun collection & the list of the ones I have, click on the button below. Thanks a lot, Bobbih2 NACK member since 1999 |

One more thing, I have been a member of an organization called Keychain Collectors International. So far, there are 50 members in the organization. The first semi-annual convention for members was just held March 3-5, 2000, in St. Louis, Missouri; the second was held in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2002; the third one was held in Louisville, Kentucky in 2004. If you would like to look at a few pictures of one of the convention, please go the following link: http://angelfire.com/va2/convention. The next convention is in 2006. Plan to be there. I am! If you would like to visit the organization, please click on the Keychain Collectors International below. |

Ooo la la! If you love great quality keychains the way I do, you will surely enjoy a French site I came across. It is called The Brocante-et-Collections. It is run by a woman called Francoise Chappuy, she has written a book about keychains called "Les Porte-Cles". She sells keychains dating from the 60's. Her site is located at http://www.brocante-et-collection.com/porte-cles. |

For those who cannot find a specific keychain, please try ebay first. A lot of the time a retired keychain can be found there. It is difficulty if impossible to find an old Basic Fun keychain any other way. I have learned this through long experience. Tip: Always check feedback and shipping cost. |

The link attached is to a college project called "A Year in the Life of Keychains" by Jane Marie Bergmayer. She decided to take the subject seriously and asked the members of NACK (Keychain Collectors International to help with her research. It is an excellent study which thoroughly examines keychains not only as objects but as collectibles: http://members.cox.net/keychain/index.htm. |
