Our care assistants are very important to us. Their ability to form good working relationships with their clients, combining professionalism with real care and empathy is crucial to our success.
Our clients tell us that among the qualities they value most in a care assistant are reliability, a caring and friendly manner and the ability to be a good listener. At Quality Care we would add the qualities of professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness, the right skills for the job and good value for money to that list.
We therefore select, train and screen all care assistants thoroughly before we allocate any work to them and we offer them regular support and supervision.
All care assistants have the support of a local senior care assistant as well as that of our co-ordinators and the two Registered General Nurses in our team.
Care assistants are invited to attend various advanced training courses as well as the regular compulsory updates in moving and handling. All Quality Care training relates to NVQ standards and can be used as supporting evidence towards NVQ qualifications.
Quality Care takes the stress out of finding care assistants: you tell us your needs and we will find someone you really like.
