This is a fan letter I’d like to send to Jonathan Scott-Taylor.
I hope he gets the chance to read this as it is very important.
It relates to my abuse and how he has helped me to heal.

March 6, 2007

Dear Mr. Taylor,

I apologize if I am intruding on your privacy, however, I thought you should know that you have been of enormous help to me. Let me explain. I suffered multiple forms of abuse (some of it too horrible to describe) on into adulthood and because of this I am going through the healing process. This has been a big strain on me as I had been planning to further my education, either by going to law school or getting a Master’s Degree in Political Science or History (currently I only have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science).
Throughout the healing process, I’ve learned more about myself and I’ve discovered something that most people would consider devastating. I suffer from Dissociative Identity Disorder (or what is commonly referred to as Multiple Personality Disorder). I spent the first 7 years of therapy working on core healing issues and now I’m working on the issues of my other personalities, or alters (as we like to call them),
Now, please bear with while I explain how you’ve been of help. One of my alters, called Eva, is 14 and is stuck in the past. You could say that she, or we I should say, were a big fan of yours and still are to this day. Going back in time and revisiting the past and the things and people I loved have helped Eva and me deal with the abuse issues surrounding that time period.
Thank you for the work you’ve done in your acting career that got us through a difficult time and I must say watching your movies is still enjoyable today.
I wish you well and success in your endeavors whether they be in acting or in some other profession. And please have a wonderful birthday.

Sincerely yours,
Kelly

I apologize if my letter comes off as pompous (or sleep inducing) but I also have Asperger’s, which is a mild form of autism.
