I'll be glad to tell you a little about me
before we move on. Obviously a Southern Belle
born in South Carolina "early on a frosty morn', "
I became "American by birth
and Southern by the grace of God," on December 20.

A former English teacher and former copyeditor by trade,


I am now a full-time calligrapher and
on-line copy editor of manuscripts of almost all kinds.
I also enjoy reading,doll collecting,water sports and boating,
developing my website,
and working with the

American Association of University Women.

My studies at Winthrop University,
the University of South Carolina,
the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill,
and other S C schools give me some earned degrees
and a wealth of people from whom I have learned so much.


I have found friendship and wonderful
relationships with some fantastic cyberpals.
These new friends enrich not only my virtual world,
but also my real world.
