Welcome
to my spot for Digital Scrapping. I started scrapbooking
in 1999, after my wedding pictures arrived in the mail.
They were such a great memory of such a wonderful day
that I couldn't let them sit in a box in the dark and
forget about them. While visiting my son in Tempe, I
happened upon a scrapbook store in Mesa and discovered
the world of memory preservation. I started buying 12x12
paper and acid free embellishments and quickly put
together the beginnings of my first album. I worked on
that album off and on for a few years until I became
pregnant with my son Michael. While
pregnant with Michael, I started a baby album with
pregnancy pictures and ultrasounds. I devoured magazines
and websites with layout ideas in them. The real turning
point was Christmas of 2001, when I received a digital
camera from my in-laws and started snapping hundreds of
photos of baby Mikey. By 2002 I had so many digital
photos that I knew I'd never get them all scrapped the
old fashioned way. Then I stumbled upon a Yahoo
newsgroup dedicated to Digital Scrapbooking- the
practice of creating layouts entirely on the computer.
Yahoo! I now had a way to use all those photos. I
started using Paint Shop Pro and made digital layouts
that I could print out or store on CD-Rom. Now
I am offering my scrapbook pages to you to use. If you
want to download a layout, click on the thumbnail to
download the zipfile of the psp. Some of them are rather
large, as I recently started creating 200 dpi layout
which print out better. These layouts are for personal
use only. Please do not claim them as your own for
purposes of selling them. |
