Trey joined the Dicks and Janes in Fall 2001. He was born in Detroit on November 4, 1980, and graduated from Grosse Pointe South in 1998. Trey graduated in April 2002 from The University of Michigan with a BTA in
Musical Theatre Production.
Fun facts about Trey:
1. He's one of the three winners of Dicks and Janes' Marc Smollin
Award (2002)!
2. His left thumb is double jointed- it's kinda gross. But he makes it hot.
3. He is the perfect "Grosse Pointe Icon" Why? 4 main reasons:
a. Trey almost never wears jeans or tennis shoes.
b. He wears button-down oxford-style shirts almost every day.
c. He owns a big white expensive car (HAS to be white or beige! Just drive down Mack or by the lake someday- you'll see what I mean. It's blinding in the summer time!).
d. His parents own boats (okay, they own kayaks, but it still counts!).
Trey is so awesome and beautiful it makes me cry. I am always telling him he should be a model, but he doesn't believe me. He is also a great arranger!
Some of the songs he has arranged for Dicks and Janes include:
Show Me the Way (/Keg) (originally by Styx)
You Rock My World (Michael Jackson)
He also was coarranger on the following songs, along with Josh Bueller:
Lady Marmalade (Mya, Pink, Lil' Kim, Aguilera version)
Shambala (Three Dog Night)
To Trey (April 2002) - my Grosse Pointe Ideal, "SO crazy," mood ring, magazine model
I think I'm in love with you! You are so gorgeous and talented it makes me cry. For the millionth time, I wish you had joined this group earlier, but I think you were meant to be a Dick at this specific year. It has been such an important year for the group, with specific regards to redefining who we are without negative "ghosts" among us. I thank you so much for being my "member of the year (of 4, hee hee)."
