This scanning doesn't do this beautiful quilt justice. The lighter color is a bright yellow.
My paternal grandmother made this handquilted treasure but unsure of the date.

This is my first try at doing log cabins.
At the time I hadn't even heard of what a rotory cutter was.
This one is in different shades of pinks and purples and again the sunlight
and scanning alter the true colors.

Another class, "Border Bash" to learn all about making borders.
We met once a month for 6 months to finish this. The bear claw block in the middle was my idea, but each border was like doing a mystery quilt but with borders.
We just never knew what was coming next.
