The Cosgrove Family Tree
Martin Cosgrove (my 3rd great grandfather) came to Australia and settled in the Bathurst area in the 1840's. He was married to Anne Caples.
Their son Martin Edward (my 2nd great grandfather) married Emily Yates of Hill End in 1885. He died in 1906. They had five children:
Edward Martin (1886 - unknown) married Florence Kirkman in 1908
Grace A (1889 - unknown) married Harcourt James in 1911
Kenneth T "Bonner" (1891-unknown)
Kathleen, my great grandmother (1893-1969) married John Raphael Ryan
Patrick (1896-unknown) married May (surname unknown)
The Yates Family
George Yates and Martha "Ellen" Wardman gave birth to Emily Yates (my 2nd great grandmother) about 1862.
They lived in Hill End.
The Wardman Family
Thomas and Harriett Wardman came to Australia from Yorkshire, England in 1841 on the ship "Cadet". They brought with them three children: Charles, Martha Ellen and Lewin. Once settled in Australia they had several more children.
