| Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5 Total of 18 miles Begin trip at the Cheaha State Park Trail Head parking lot at 4 PM on Friday, May 3. Hike 2.5 miles to the Blue Mountain Shelter for Friday night. On Saturday, hike 10 miles to Morgan Lake and camp. Sunday hike 5.5 miles to Highway 431 to end trip. For those starting on Saturday morning, please be at the Blue Mountain Shelter by 9 AM. It should take you about 1 1/4 hour to get to the shelter from the parking lot. We will have a car at trail's end to take you back to get your vehicle. Hope to see you there. |
