These pieces are all monoprints on fabric. Paint is applied to a plexiglass plate and images are added or removed as the paint is manipulated. The fabric is placed over the painted surface and it is sent through a press. After the fabric is printed, it is embellished and sewn into with additional images added through photo transfer or embroidery. One of the most appealing things about this method is the smaller scale I am forced to work with, dictated by the size of the press and my printing plate.
