I am Manek Hamzaali Hakimjee, in my early thirties. I was born in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. I went to Olympio Primary School for my primary schooling, and AgaKhan Mzizima Secondary School for my secondary schooling. After completing my A-Levels, I joined the University of Nottingham for my undergraduate studies. I worked in Tanzania as a computer programmer for two years before deciding to join University of Houston as a postbaccalaureate student. I completed 36 credit hours, and decided to become a teacher. I enrolled myself with Region IV ESC in November 2007, and have been fortunate enough to land myself a teaching job beginning Fall 2008.
My family consists of my mother Shamim who resides in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. My elder sister Farzana, who is married to Khuzema Sulemanji and they have two children Adam and Yasmin. They reside in Katy, TX. My elder brother Hanif is married to Prisca, and they have a son, Raj. They reside in Winter Park, FL. I got married to Aqeel Khushnood in August 2006, and we live in Houston,TX.
Now, a little bit about myself. In my free time, I enjoy experimenting different cuisines of the world and learning foreign languages.
