                                                         Life or Death
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Rom 6:23)
Hello friend, my name is Gary King.  I am the Assistant Pastor at the House of Prayer Church, in Rayland Ohio.
I would like to talk to you today about life and death.  In this world we live in today , war, famine, kids with guns, natural disaster, even thing like our loved ones passing. WHY?!?
That is one question asked by everyone.  If there is a God? If God was real?  Or many go as far as to blame God.  Why would you do this?  The answer is simple.
The wages of Sin is death. Does this mean that God wants to see us suffer because we were disobedient to him?  No! God wants to see us live. I am come that they may have life, and that may have it more abundantly (Jn 10:10) Although God will punish us, For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth (Heb 12:6) But He doesnt want to lock us up and throw away the key.  To chasten means to free from faults by punishment; restrain, moderate.  GLORY TO GOD!!! Friend He doesnt want to you to suffer, He wants you to be free, free from sin and shame, and free from fear.  Fear of What?  How about tomorrow? What lies ahead? Sickness?  Terrorism? Disaster?  Death?
Does being a Christian exempt me from all those things? Maybe not but the peace
comes in knowing that God is in control. AMEN.  As the three Hebrew children said "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.  But if nor, let it be known to you that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the golden image you set up. (Dan 3:17-18) You see they knew that no matter what they were in Gods hands.  Why?  Because they loved Him and served him with all they had.
