INTRODUCTION TO ASTROLOGY AND BASICS ADVANCED students don't discount these links, there is a lot more than basics on some of them.

I want to start with a start.... these are URL's that are directly linked to the intro and basics of astrology. Some sites have charts available, horoscope readings, links, and lessons. Although the lessons are on the same subject, they are presented differently, so just browse through and see what "works" best for you.

Lesson one covers temperament(personality) patterns of charts. Chart patterns give you the initial feel of the person, and the general quality in the chart, so that you can look at the whole of the person rather than in a fragmentary way. There are seven types of temperament patterns

If you are new to declinations you are in for a treat. With them you can easily double your astrology powers.

ASTROLOGY FOR WINDOWS freeware/shareware program John Halloran makes software that makes astrology calculations/displays for Windows. Users can save calculated birth charts for review, change, or comparison with other charts.
