I believe that it was Katharine Hepburn who said, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans." If so, he must have been laughing hysterically when Jeremy was ushered into this world. He loves trains and his mother hated them.
Jeremy loves the pictures of model railroads on this site. Rexanna enjoyed seeing models which the general public can not see otherwise, such as architect Bob Boyce's model railroad of historic Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
Jeremy inherited a love of gardening from his father and maternal grandmother, certainly not from his mother.
"The world's largest illustrated seed catalogue."
"SBE is a family owned and operated seed business serving home gardeners, University botanical departments and research facilities world wide."
"The University of Maine Cooperative Extension publishes over 680 publications with information for Maine people." Many of their publications are free. Publication topics include crops, lawn & garden, blueberries, and potatoes.
"PAR’s success hinges on its people-helping-people approach. The concept is simple. There are over 70 million gardeners in the U.S. alone, many of which plant vegetables and harvest more than they can consume. If every gardener plants one extra row of vegetables and donates their surplus to local food banks and soup kitchens, a significant impact can be made on reducing hunger. Food agencies will have access to fresh produce, funds earmarked for produce can be redirected to other needed items and the hungry of America will have more and better food than is presently available."
This Web site tracks the wolf pack featured in National Geographic's "Wolves: A Legend Returns to Yellowstone." The video is available at the Saint John Regional Library (VR/599.773/WOL).

Over the March break, we made a t-shirt for Jeremy from this Web page.
"The secret to this trick comes from a branch of mathematics called topology. It teaches that figures can be stretched without changing their area."
"Amaze your friends with some paper-cutting magic. It's really geometry. Dr. August Ferdinand Mobius, a nineteenth century mathematician, discovered this principle which was named for him. But you don't have to say that. Just tell your friends you can cut a paper strip in half without cutting it apart."
Jeremy used a variation of this "trick" very effectively on his grandmother.
In advance, he wrote "1089" on a piece of paper and put it in a blue balloon. I blew the balloon up. After step 6, he told his grandmother he was going to magicly transfer her answer to the balloon. Then he asked her to pop the balloon.
This Web site is an advertisement for Life Savers; however, if your child doesn't like them or your child knows not to ask for stuff that it sees advertised, this is a great site full of cool games.
Iowa Weather News, Current Conditions & More, including access to Iowa Skywarn Spotter Training.
Jeremy went absolutely ballistic over the recent Mars landing.
"Internet space cadets can now take NASA's two roving Mars probes for a spin, driving them across the dusty red landscape from the comfort of their computer terminals"
"The site is updated regularly with the latest pictures and data from the two Mars rovers. The online "drivers" can examine the same points of interest investigated by the real probes and look at the same close-up pictures that they have sent back to Earth."

"Welcome to NatureNorth.com, Manitoba's online nature magazine, where we celebrate the biodiversity of this great province." Both children and adults will love this interactive web site. As an aspiring computer meister, Rexanna appreciated its and beauty and elegance and Jeremy loved the pictures of wildlife, in particular, the snakes.
Jeremy loved to sing "Singing in the Rain" whenever we were caught in the rain but Rexanna could not remember the words. Search for the lyrics to your favourite song at this site.
Jeremy went to the Canada Games Flip 'n' Dip into Summer camps for three weeks in 2003. He loved them! "Every [Canada Games Flip 'n' Dip into Summer] camp includes: swimming lessons, free swims, games, field trips, arts & crafts, and much more."
The "Aquatic Centre is the largest aquatic facility in New Brunswick.
