3/2008 – 11/2008 – Club Regina at the Kona Reef, Kailua-Kona, HIGeneral Manager

Manage the TimeShare operation including Reservations, Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance.  Responsible for renovation of the units including soft goods.  Prepared daily, weekly,  & monthly reports as well as budget.  Submitted payroll, reviewed monthly financial statements and prepared variance reports.  Worked with activity vendors and coordinated weekly Orientation Briefing for our guests.

4/2005 – 10/2007 – Kona Reef, Kailua-Kona, HIGeneral Manager

Manage the AOAO (130 units) as well as the Rental Program (60 units).
AOAO responsibilities include maintenance, grounds and security as well as major projects in the Reserve Study.  Prepare budgets, control expenses and review monthly financial statements.  Prepare for and conduct board meetings and Annual Meeting including notification, agenda and minutes.  Maintain communication with the President of the Board as well as other members and owners.
Rental Program responsibilities include Front Desk, Housekeeping and Maintenance, weekly forecasts, annual budgets and control expenses to increase bottom line revenue to the owners.   Submitted payroll, reviewed monthly financial statements and prepared variance reports.
Maintain contact with owners, not only those in the rental pool but with the other owners as well.
Goal was to increase the number of units in the rental pool.  In 2007, 5 units were added.

8/1994 - 1/2005  -  Royal Kona Resort, Kailua-Kona, HIDirector of Travel & Leisure Sales

Worked with Wholesale Travel companies, Travel Agents, Meeting Planners and Group Travel companies to secure business for the Hotel.  Negotiated rates and contracts.
Traveled within the State of Hawaii, mainland United States and internationally to attend trade shows to promote our Hotels and make sales calls.
Produced daily, weekly and monthly reports including budgets and forecasts.
Completed competitive surveys to ensure that the Hotel was priced accordingly to maximize revenue while maintaining market share.  Worked closely with other departments so that our clients' expectations were fulfilled.

12/1988 - 8/1994 -  Kona Hilton Resort, Kailua-Kona, HIDirector of Front Office Operations

As of January 1, 1994, the Hotel changed management and the name changed to Royal Kona Resort.
Responsible for Front Office, Reservations, Bell Services, PBX and Hotel Assistant Managers.
Produced daily, weekly and monthly reports including budgets and forecasts.
Assisted in installing a computer based property management system and responsible for maintaining it as well as the telephone equipment.

2/1986 - 12/1988 -  Hilton Hawaiian Village, Honolulu, HIFront Office Manager

Started as assistant cashier supervisor and within 6 months promoted to Front Office Manager.
Responsible for hiring, training and scheduling Front Office personnel.
Prepared daily forecast reports.
Assisted the Director of Front Office with monthly and yearly forecasts.
