Let's start this off with a few things that irk me. How about the 'justice' system in this country. "Innocent until proven guilty" is how they _say_ it works. But too many times I've seen it work the other way around.
Generalizations tend to make me angry and they're flying all over the place. Gay people flinging them at Christians, Christians shoveling heaps of them on gays. And how about religious freedom? My religion has no room for bigotry or racism of any kind and many Christian churches feel that their way is the way of the country. This country was established for religious freedeom among other things, but seems to be favourable to Christianity. A multicultural country with citizens adhering to multiple religious beliefs needs to get the anglo-white-Christian God out of government and replace it with common sense and universal protections and dignity. Now, it's okay for someone to say that they don't agree with what I do, but it is most definitely not their place to say that I'm doing something wrong and that it is not allowed when it is hurting no one. If I've hurt any one by being gay it's because I told them so and then the pain is because they can't deal with it...which is their problem (and thy've probably got more issues than USA Today, thank you very much).
Well, as you can tell, that got me worked up pretty good. Let's go on to something a little less hostile.
Music. Are you an Erasure fag or a Tori Amos fag? Stereotypical, yes, but usually reveals a bit of a man's personality. FYI, I'm a Tori fag. Since I first heard her I was in love. Beautiful voice, beautiful woman, enchantinig, emotional lyrics and music. "Yes, Anastasia" is my favourite song of all time. It is complex, though simpistic and it's soaring and falling energy levels are emotionally overwhelming. Tori is #1, hands down.
That's all for this installment...I'll reveal more to you later :)
