Well this should give you some idea of the things I like to do.
I have always loved to travel. Luckily,
as a kid, my family would do those great cross country car trips. Yeah,
they were at times a little like National Lampoons Vacation, but they were
fun. I guess my new found passion these days is cruising. Me and my boyfriend went on one last year for my birthday and it was just wonderful. I didn't want to come home. We're doing another one this year. I'm addicted!!
I grew up in a big family and music
was always filtering around the house. I can remember playing my sisters
"Boogie Fever" 45 by "The Sylvers" over and over. I love Disco music as
well todays club and dance music. I like some alternative stuff. The only
thing that I really can't stand is heavy, heavy metal.
Movies, what would I do without them?
I love just about anything, sci fi, horror, drama, comedy, you name a category
and I can tell you a film I like. The first movie I remember going to see
was "Car Wash". Since then, movie going has been one of my favorite past
times. It's hard to say what my favorite film is. Currently though, nothing
can touch "Titanic". Some of my favorite actors are Susan Sarandon, Tom
Hanks, and Whoopi Goldberg just to name a few.
I love to go to amusement parks.
Disneyland in California is by far my favorite. It makes me feel like a
kid again. I'm not big on carnival attractions, things that spin make me
barf, but coasters are still an adventure for me. I would love to take a trip to Orlando and hit all the parks.
TV time. Yes, I love to stare at the idiot box for hours on end. I
love the Simpsons and South Park. I wish our cable system carried Comedy
Central, I have to rely on tapes from friends to watch South Park episodes.
MadTV is good for a laugh. King of the Hill is pretty good too. Going back
a few years, some of my favorites shows have been Alice, Good Times, One
Day at a Time, and Barnaby Jones. Current favorites besides the animated
shows include Will & Grace, The King of Queens, Law & Order, and 20/20. Let's not forget those wild and crazy talk shows. Jerry Springer is just unbelievable
and Judge Judy gets pretty good sometimes too and I still have to watch Ricki sometimes. The only soap opera I half way follow is the Young and the Restless.
I haven't kept up with too well though as of late.
I'm not a big bar or club guy. My schedule at work is real hard to have a big night lifestyle, except if you wanna say going to the 24 hour Wal-Mart. So here in Honolulu we have a few places that are fun to go to once and a while. The ones we go to most often are Hula's and Angles.
