BUILDING USAGE STAFF MINISTRY
We would like to thank Stuart Thompson and Daniel Huggins for stepping up
to the plate and chairing this ministry. We need a few more people to be
a part of this ministry. Specific Need: A person who would be able to
consistently meet groups at the church to let them in and lock up the
building when they leave. Pray about your participation in this vital
area of ministry to the greater community.
Ministry Opportunities
Are you seeking new ways to serve God? There is ample opportunity for
you to do so. In order to provide a more meaningful worship experience,
MCC Charlotte seeks volunteers to help during our worship services.
There are positions available such as ushers, greeters, communion
assistants, and scripture readers. Want to find out more about it? You
can by coming to our introductory training session on Sunday, April 9,
2000. This first session will give you an overview of each position and
provide you a time to sign up for more individualized training. It will
last approximately 30 minutes. If you have questions, contact Stuart
Thompson at 536-6532 or Wendell Martin at 391-9787. We look forward to
seeing you there!

sports enthusiasts to go out and support them. Practice will take place
at Idlewild Park from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoons.
Pastor Mick's Vacation Announced!
Mick will be on vacation from Monday, April 3 through Sunday, April 9th
returning to the office Monday morning April 10th. The church office
will continue to be staffed by our secretary Ms. Jeanne Brown and will be
able to direct all calls as needed. It is suggested that you not call
the pastor at home during this time of rest and relaxation. If you have
an emergency, contact the church office and Jeanne or another Staff
