Well another month has gone by and I have had quite a month. 10 brave souls came to the lovely November Thanksgiving feast social at TJ's townhouse in Lorton. Although small in number everyone had a wonderful time. Everything ran smoothly.

Anyone needing registration applications at all of ABC's upcoming events can pick them up at the December holiday party at Ken's very nice home in Laurel, MD. Remember, you can still order left over Convergence 2003 t-shirts. Many are still left and some of them are being sold for 1/3 of our cost. You can't get regular colored t-shirts for anywhere near that price. Order at one party and I will be bringing them to the very next party. Once again the prices are:

  • 1 for $5.00
  • 2 for $8.00
  • 4 for $15.00

My regular "Haband" are 4 for $20.00 and colored Ts from Casual Male with no printing are $9.95 each.

Till next month.

Hugs,
R

Gee guys. Remember me? I know I haven't been at the last few socials due to work commitments but trust me, that has changed. I was fired from my job at the end of November so you can bet your bottom dollar you will be seeing more of me! So much for being committed to work!!! Since I wasn't at the social in November at TJ's, here is Joe L's recap of the festivities:

The social at TJ's townhouse on November 20th went very smoothly. TJ bought a Thanksgiving dinner from Giant which included a fully cooked 10-pound turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and an apple pie plus a big spiral-sliced ham from Honey Baked Ham, Co. It was delicious. Other people brought various dishes to complement the dinner so we truly had a feast! 10 people came to the social despite the messy, rainy night and 3 of them were new guests to G&M. We had a ball and TJ was a very hospitable host. Thank you TJ for another great social. TJ made carry-home bags of the ham and turkey for all the guests so we could have leftover sandwiches.

Thanks Joe for the report and special thanks to TJ for hosting a great social. You got to love leftover turkey sandwiches!!!!

In December we will be hosting two socials; one on December 18th for our annual holiday party at Ken S's townhome in Laurel, MD and one on December 31st for our annual New Year's Eve get-together at my clubhouse in Lorton, VA. See elsewhere in this newsletter for details. Till next month, Jim.
