French Polynesia consists
of 118 islands and atolls scattered over a vast area of the Pacific Ocean.
The largest groups of islands are the Society Islands (Tahiti), Tuamotu
Archipelago, and Tubuaï Islands. Tahiti, where the capital Papeete
is situated, is often called "The Island of Love". I certainly hope that's
the case!
