Information on the situation for homosexuals in the Gambia: ? I have not found any information about whether homosexuality is legal or not in the Gambia. The Gambia recently completed a transition from military to civilian rule and is one of Africa's few democracies. One should nonetheless be careful at political gatherings and demonstrations and be prepared to stop at roadblocks.
