in Greenland:

Greenland is part of the Danish
realm, but with self-government for domestic issues. One such issue is
registered partnership for homosexual couples, and the Danish law from
1989 was accepted in Greenland in 1994! Thus making Greenland one of seven
countries and territories that have introduced similar laws: Denmark,
Norway, Greenland, Sweden, Iceland, Hungary, and the Netherlands. Greenland is not a member of the European Union. It withdrew from the European Community in 1985.
