The Vatican is the centre for the Catholic world's inhibition concerning everything sexual. The Pope, absolute ruler of the Holy See and leader of the whole Catholic Church, is not exactly a gay advocate. His statements of hate and prejudice against such a large group of the world population, many of whom are his followers(!), have a great effect on many easily led Christian fanatics. I cannot see anything good coming from such fanaticism.
The Vatican claims that any
form of sexual act that doesn't lead to the possibility of conceiving children
is a mortal sin and leads to Hell.
