Information on the situation for homosexuals in Poland:

Legal

Homosexual age of consent at 15 was introduced in 1934. Prostitution is legal. Homosexual marriage is illegal. Homosexuals may be discharged from military service.

Communist era police files on Polish homosexuals have yet to be destroyed, and there are reports of them still being used. Rex Wockner's International News #281.

Poland is a very Catholic country, with strong moral codes. People often marry quite young and the use of contraceptives is quite restricted.
