Ron Storme's Club Travestie Extraordinaire
Stepney's Night Club, next to The George Tavern, 373 Commercial Road E1. It is run on alternative Weekends which I will post here when I have them. Open from 8:30pm to 2:00am Tel: 0181-788-4154 for further details. The best route seems to be via Aldgate Tube station and either Cab or the No.15 bus. C.T.E. has been going for 19 years and has a diverse following. It is friendly and cheap, with normal pub prices and a £5 door fee. There is a mixture of TG and Straights, male and female. Limited changing facilities.
The Way Out Club
At Charlie's Night Club in Crosswall, just off the Minories. The nearest Tube Station is Tower Hill and it really is just 'round the corner. It runs every Saturday with themes to most evenings these days. It opens from 9:00pm to 4:00am and a lot of people arrive after Ron Storme's when it's open. Entry costs £8 for non-members and £5 for members, with fetish nights costing £12. Prices are pretty steep but it's a nightclub in the golden mile, what do you expect? The changing facilities are very good and the provision of a well-lit area full of tables and chairs away from the dancing is very welcome. Cabaret is usually of a very good quality, but the dance floor is a bit naff. Good mix of mainly friendly people but look out for the S.O.B.s. Lipstick
Jimmy's bar in the Philbeach hotel, Philbeach Gardens, Earls Court. Easy to get to, it's within 2 mins walk of the Tube Station. I haven't personally been but plan to soon. It happens on the first Monday of every month and much of it's success must be due to the fact that it is a Tranny Friendly Hotel with rooms. Because of this it has the reputation of being a bit of a meat market, but that's not always a bad thing. It is nevertheless held to be a good if somewhat pricey night out.

The Black Cap
Just a pub, this one, in Camden Town, just up from the Tube (going away from the Lock, Market et al). Nevertheless they are very tranny friendly and the barstaff look after us "girls" so hassle isn't an issue. There is a very good disco on Tuesday nights which charges a nominal £1 on the door.
