| Our youth ministry exists to Spread the gospel to nonbelieving students, Train believers to live out their Christian faith and Offer their lives to God, Network them with other believers to provide growing opportunities to Experience the work of ministry. |
| though sometimes it seems as though all we have is complaints about our service, and what is missing, i find myself looking back at the past years, realizing how much this group has meant to me. To me, gemstone has always been a place where I feel free to express my self, where I can turn to with questions, and go no matter what is on my mind. Even on days when nothing seems to be going right, and church is honestly the last place I would like to be, the words "we'll be blessed because we came" have always proved to be true. We've grown a lot in 5 years - from sitting in a circle in the cafeteria with Bill threatening us to sing, to having our own room, praise team, bulletins, pastor... Don't be afraid to recognize the faults, but at the same time, do not let it blind you from appreciating God's work... I'm going to miss you so much, but Gemstone & it's people will always be special to me. |
