Our Cologne apartment (outside)
Our Cologne apartment was quite nice (and very German). For the monthly rent of DM1350, we got a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and TWO living rooms! Electricity, water and cable were all included.
We'll start with the deck and views... Here are photos of the deck from the patio, and the deck itself (afternoon sun).
Here's the view from the deck. It's not that great, but the sun went down right in the middle of the view, so it wasn't so bad.
In fact, here's a sunset from the deck.
Here's the view from the lounge window. In the first lounge, we got morning sun. The second picture was taken on the last day of summer, as (symbolically) a big layer of cloud started to cover the sky.
