Welcome
to Kerry's Miscellaneous Gay Pages:
About Me Thanks for visiting! |
Kerry's Info Page"There's a lot of talk these days about homosexuals coming out of the closet. I didn't know they'd been in the closet. I do know they've always been in the gutter." -Jerry Fallwell "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) Are you looking for someone in the St. Louis area to help create and maintain web pages? If you are, please e-mail me! I will send you a resume right away! I'm interested in joining a company that has the foresight to be on the cutting edge of this fascinating web technology.Howdy! First I would like to thank you for visiting my web site. I hope you find something interesting here, whether it's a word search puzzle or a diverting maze that you can print out, some ideas where to go next, listening to original MIDI songs, and more. I call my web site "Kerry's Miscellaneous Gay Pages" because I like a lot of different things, and also because I'm gay (duh). So browse around at your leisure, but please e-mail me if you can. I'd love to know how you found this site and what you think.
Special thanks go out to GeoCities, who offer free web sites for people. They have lots of different communities to choose from based on your interests. West Hollywood is their gay & lesbian community. If you've ever wanted your own web page, check them out! Without GeoCities, this site (and many others) wouldn't be on the Internet. First I'll tell you about this site, and then I'll tell you a bit about me.
A little bit about me |
You're here. I'm queer. Get used to it.
Realm of the MIDI Queen |
Listen to some original MIDI songs I created. I love techno and dance music, but I can't afford a keyboard. So I bought Cakewalk 3.01 which comes with a built-in keyboard. Use the Media Player in Windows (or hopefully any MIDI device) to download the songs, and then listen to them as you browse the rest of my website!
Gaystlouis.com |
Gaystlouis.com is your guide to what's queer here in St. Louis. Check out the Bar, Shopping, and Restaurant Guides, read the Comments & Views, find out the top 20 dance songs playing in the clubs here, bone up on events coming up, and then read your wacky horoscope provided by Lady Kiska de Tasenka. Then jump into the Magic Vortex, where you'll be whisked away to some very strange (but hilarious) spots on the Internet. Michael Jobin from Jobee.com and I try to update this site in our spare time, which isn't very often!
The Web Word Search (Plus!) |
Sharpen your pencil and print out a variety of word search puzzles. And after you find all the hidden words, the remaining letters spell out a quote about the puzzle. Then get lost in a variety of mazes that will keep you twisting and turning. Also visit the Puzzle Ring Homepage, where you can begin a journey to a wide variety of puzzle pages on the Internet.
For Queer Mice |
Appearing about every two weeks in Slam magazine, the alternative bar rag for St. Louis, "For Queer Mice" is a queer Internet column with a different theme every issue. It's a different way to find interesting queer websites. Check it out!
Links Galore! |
No web site is complete without a links page (always under construction). Here you'll find a bunch of places to waste even more time. My queer links page was featured in the fabulous book Out Magazine's Gay & Lesbian Guide to the Web!
Let's see... My name is Kerry Shatzer, and I'm 28 years old with blue eyes and brown hair, now living in St. Louis, Missouri. I was born on March 10, 1969 in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. I've lived in Florida, England, North Carolina, and Texas. I went to Plano Senior High School with a graduating class of 1300. Then I went on to Texas A&M University (whoop!), starting as a Physics major and swithching to Marketing after two years. I graduated in August of 1992 and found a job at Mix 104.7 FM in Bryan/College Station selling and creating radio commercials. I was fortunate enough to go to the 1993 March on Washington, where over 1 million queers gathered in the capital to demand equal rights. Then I met my lover Terry, and we both moved up here to St. Louis in November of 1993. I finally got a computer a year later, and a year later I got hooked up to the Internet and haven't been the same since. In February a friend told me about GeoCities, and my main page went up in West Hollywood #2555 a few days before March. Since I couldn't find a gay guide to St. Louis on the Internet, I decided to make my own and the St. Louis Q was born. And I've hardly been off the computer since (as Terry will definitely tell you). Right now I'm working at the Station Casino St. Charles in the I.S. Department. I'm looking for a job creating and maintaining web pages. I would love to help gay people and groups get on the Internet. If you're from the St. Louis area and looking for an entry-level guy in your multimedia department, please e-mail me at tlee3@ix.netcom.com. Thanks! By the way, I have an identical twin brother still in Texas who is straight. You can check out his home page about architecture, the local music scene in Bryan/College Station, and more. It's at the Home Page of Kelly Shatzer. Now some of the guys I work with (or used to work with) have their own web pages. Check out:
