If you can deal with the subways, cranky people and attitude, you too can have a fabulously queer time in the Big Manzana. Make sure you start off by picking up a copy of Homo Extra when you hit the Lesbian and Gay Community Center and a Different Light when you get there. Be safe and have a fabulous time!

HX. HomoExtra. The best, sassiest, bitchiest commentary on what's going on in queer life in NYC. There's even a new section, called LX for Her, which reflects the burgeoning scene for women. Look them up.

Empire State Pride Agenda. "The Political Voice of Over 1,000,000 Lesbian and Gay New Yorkers." Although not always as progressive as I'd like, Empire State Pride Agenda is still plugging away for full rights for us. Have a look.
