The Taurus/Leo combination can be a powerful and positive one, but there are some big differences between the two women that need to be taken into consideration. Earthy Taurus likes to move slowly and deliberately and can be painstaking about bringing a task to completion. Fiery Leo enters into a task as an adventure. The most important thing is that it be exciting and creative as a process, not necessarily that the finished product be perfect. Both signs are intensely strong-willed and stubborn, and therefore each tends to be reluctant to appreciate the way the other does things. Even though both women are proud, stubborn individuals, they do have the capacity to respect each other's individuality and the integrity, loyalty, and honesty the other has in abundance. Both women are persevering and loyal to the people they love, so once these women grow to love each other, they will put an all-out effort into making their relationship work.
Both women are strongly emotional with a great deal of personal warmth. Although the Taurus woman may often seem strodgy to her Leo partner, they will share a love of the arts, beauty, music, and dance. They both will appreciate good food, humor, and playing together. Both have a need for vigorous exercise and both usually have strong physical vitality. The problem is not in the way they do things so much as what they want to do. When their ideas of what is important clash, it sometimes seems no compromise is possible. When they do want the same thing, they derive keen enjoyment from each other's companionship.
One area where these two women may have problems is the use of money. Taurus believes in a conservative, save-for-a-rainy-day approach to finances; Leo, typically extravagant and generous, tends to be more free with money. Leo also enjoys extravagantly-expressed appreciation from her loved one. The Taurus is prone to be plain-spoken and reluctant to give praise. She may have a horror of giving extravagant compliments lest she be thought to be manipulative. Therefore, she may go to the opposite extreme, and Leo may be hurt by this as she loves to receive praise -- and also to give it.
