I've got sick and tired of reading how disgusting Salo is. I can understand some "common people" thinking this way. But isn't it really disgusting that those who claim to be critics or something try to sing the same song. Salo, in fact, is one of the most beautiful *pictures* I ever seen to which such masterpieces as "Prospero's Books" or "The Godfather" can only be compared. My first association with this movie is the fantastic appearance of that old woman with a big bow telling her story and colors, colors and more colors, the grand feast of colors and forms. What Pasolini created in this movie, as well as in any other, is the Art. It is like a three-dimensional painting, right on the air, captured by camera. That's what is really worth of discussion, I think. - Johnny The Flower
