the style of the classic "Fever". Dina went on to
explain that she and Nigel will begin work on some new material this
week for a new album, expected in the New Year. She is also

News just in from Dina's management:-

Crawford in 1984) as a guest vocalist on Joolz
Gianni's upcoming album "Chilled 2 The Sax", due out in
May 2003. They will be promoting the song on 09 April appearing on "Today

Dina Carroll has changed management again. Simon Harrison from

some new material, for a potential new recording contract, I will let
you know in the new year how this is progressing."

Dina Carroll began her UK tour yesterday with a gig at
Manchester Lowry. Dina was in great form, and performed all her hits

special treat, she also performed a cover version of "Ain't No
Stoppin' Us Now".
18
April 2002
Dina Carroll has recently recruited a new manager, Cara Harrison of
CAT Management. Cara has visited this website and has consequently
contacted me. She confirmed that Dina is likely to change record
companies in the near future. Dina is currently rehearsing for
the UK tour in May, whilst busy penning new material for a future
album. About 6 songs have already been written and, according to
Cara, "they are great"!
However, Dina's booking agent, Miracle Artists, has confirmed that the
tour in May will unfortunately be reduced to only 2 shows - Manchester
(10 May) and London (22 May). In fact, the decision was made a while
ago, but the promoter, Marshall
Arts, has been slow in announcing the change. Ticket-holders of
the cancelled shows should look out for an imminent announcement
regarding refund or replacement procedure.

been considering the release of a Greatest Hits compilation since late
2000.

pushed back until the summer to fit its uplifting feel.
No more details can be found at this stage.
As a consolation, Dina IS going to be battling for this
year's UK Christmas No. 1 as she is part of Children's
Promise whose charity single "It's Only Rock 'n
Roll" is released today. It is a cover version of a

Carroll", are being made. The album, as currently

Sears Radio Edit. "Good To Me" is now present
in a remixed form, complete with a sample of A Taste Of
Honey's classic disco hit "Boogie Oogie Oogie".

single, "Say You Love Me" has been set to 13
September, with the album, "Dina Carroll",

"Ain't No Man", with label-mate Byron Stingily,
re-titled "Ain't No One", specially for a
Manifesto club tour. It is not clear whether this new
version will be officially released.
18 Aug 1999
Two different promotional 12" singles of "Say
You Love Me" have been released, including various
dance mixes by Almighty, The Sharp Boys and Roger
Sanchez. These mixes totally transform the original
version, which is a mid-tempo R&B track, into another
fierce dancefloor filler. Details of these mixes can be
found in Discography.
"Without Love" drops out of the UK Top 40 Singles Chart after four weeks
(13-26-27-35).

small audience of about 50 due to the heavy downpour,
Dina and her three hot male dancers gave us all they had

"Without Love (Dave Sears Mix)".
After the show, I spoke to Dina about her new album. She
said that it should be released around September/October

original mixes. The new version of the album still
contains the same tracks as before but with some new
mixes.

NEW MIX FOR DINA CARROLL RELAUNCH
Dave
Sears, who worked on Karen Ramirez's "Looking For
Love", has mixed the radio edit of Dina Carroll's
forthcoming single, "Without Love", set for
release on July 12. Rhett Lawrence, who worked on most of
her album, Canny (Lawrence Nelson) and Todd Terry all
attempted edits before the right mix was found. As part
of Carroll's relaunch, she will now appear on First
Avenue/Manifesto rather than First Avenue/Mercury as
before.
Separately, Andy has spoken to Larry Flick from Billboard
magazine who is confident that the new album will be out
this summer both in Europe and the US. Let's hope Mercury
will finally give the new album its most deserved general
release!
27 May 1999
Prerpartion for the release of "Without Love",

Further information regarding additional dance remixes of
the track is expected imminently.
