Just a very quick entry considering the length of the one this morning.
Went to the lab at 8:30 am, set up a few reactions and then sat through another lecture. Got my mid-term paperwork to my Supervisor and then finally off loaded it onto the head of the department. Tried picking up my Androcur at the ANU pharmacy, but they didn't carry the 100 mg tablets. Went to the Canberra center after lunch and had to wait whilst they got it from another nearby shop. Did some shopping and picked up some essentials.
Quit work about 5:30 pm since I was bored and came home. Mum rang at ~ 6:00 pm and I had a good chat with her and Dad. Jules dropped by soon after and I had a good long natter with him about nothing in particular. I asked if he would mind taking some photos of my body so that I could note any physical changes down the track. No genital stuff, which I forgot to mention, but he said OK anyway.
Later on I got an email from Jules mum who had been reading my diary and had some concerns, I replied and hopefully sorted that out. Went upstairs and chatted to Susan, then at ~9:00 pm I had to go to the to set up a C13 NMR. Got that out of the way, bought some candy from the Tavern which I didn't really want, chatted with Booz'n and Jules and then came down here.
I left my studs out today in the hope that this might cause the holes to heal properly, but all that happened was that they filled up with clotted blood which made it even harder to get the studs back in. I had to force the hole open with the drop earrings before I could get the studs in. I may have to compromise with some small rings. I don't know, I guess my body just doesn't like being pierced with metal… ho hum…
Right now I'm about to head off for some very well deserved sleep…
