4th November

11:00 am Wednesday 4th November 1998

An early diary entry, this is unusual. It seems that I only get my creative urge around 3:00am. Haven't been doing to much, it was Jules' birthday today, he turned 19, I don't feel old, but I know time is continually ticking. Somebody asked what year I was born, I said I wrote God an introduction for Genesis. ;)
What else, I have to go back over to the lab sometime tonight, because I used the very last of the dppe, and if this reaction doesn't work (and I don't think it has) then I'm up the proverbial creek with the proverbial canoe.
I finally said to Szusza that I would go the the Sydney Glitter Ball. It's on Saturday the 14th of November at the Sydney University Refectory. She says that herself, Sharon, Christine (who organized the Canberra Ball) and three of Christine's friends and myself would be on our table along with three people from Sydney. It should be very interesting. I'm going to go up to Sydney on the Friday, because if I went up on the Saturday I'd be exhausted before I even got there. I want to find something nice to wear, so I might either check out Jerry Shaw or Drag Bag.
This CD player is constantly jumping and annoying the heck out of me.
Yesterday I splurged and bought Creatures 2 which is a virtual life compute game. It's OK, but requires a lot of patience (which I don't really have) and time (which I don't have either).
In case anyone has been following this diary, no I haven't actually gotten any more motivated than I was before. I guess I've saved the most difficult three compound till last, not the smartest thing to do.
I'm hairy as all heck now also. I usually get a wax every three weeks, but I will have to wait till next Wednesday (four weeks) before getting another one so that I'll be smooth for the Ball. I've never been to the Taxi Club, but it should be fun.
Sarah finally sent me an email, but I haven't written back to her yet. I also have to send one to Simon as well.
I can't believe that it's been two years since I finished my Honors. It seems incredible.
