It's me again, aren't you surprised?! Yet another weekend has flashed past, but it's not over yet, some time tonight I'll have to go for a run, maybe I'll go over to Mt Ainslie or perhaps around Black Mountain. What have I been up to today? Not very much, the weather is getting much colder, I have had the heater going for most of today, and I'm eating much more than I previously have been. I fixed the flat tire on my bike and went for a spin around civic and also dd some shopping. I snoozed for a bit in the evening and chatted to Susan for a while as well. Susan if you're reading this, I still think you're a floozy. ;)
Anyway, what else has been a happening? Not all that much, still no word on the current plan, I'm still waiting for confirmation and it's annoying.
Oh well, I guess I'd better get ready for this run, I think I'll do a lap of the lake, my ankle is a little sore for an unknown reason, but I'll see how it goes and avoid pushing it too hard since the twin peaks selection trial is on Tuesday and that will only give me Monday to recover.
Well, I'm back. Not too sweaty thank god because it was so cold, but it was hard nonetheless. Going up Black Mountain was quite hard, because my calves were in a lot of pain. I think it's because I hadn't done a lot of hill training before I went on the run to Mount Ainslie recently. Hopefully this run tonight will have loosened them up and the Twin Peaks run will not be as bad.
I've been back reading Michelle's page, she seems to be updating it fairly frequently which is nice, she has some good poetry which is enjoyable to read.
Instead of my usual museli, I bought Honey-smacks cereal today. I haven't had it in ages, by I used to love it, so I think I might have a bowl to see whether I still do… hmmm, they're not too bad. Definitely a change from the museli. Anyway, there you go, another first. Watch live as a TG eats breakfast cereal live on the internet!!! I was supposed to do my laundry and shave my legs today, but it looks like those things will have to wait until tomorrow.
I'm thinking about freezing my current geocities account and maybe moving elsewhere. I would like to set up a wholly new page, but I don't think that I have the time or patience for it right at the moment.
